A new musical experience, an intercultural journey that through sound reflects the poetry of the wind and the sun, the blue of the sea and the sky. Jarath  was born from the fusion of three Sicilian artists: percussionist Nino Errer, violinist Luigi Amico and pianist Graziano Mossuto who are both multi-instrumentalists are very focused on research and sound experimentation. Jarath is a concert-tour which  comes to life through the fusion of Mediterranean rhythms and sounds, intersected with the colours and sounds of the music of the world. Improvisation, experimentation and research are the fundamentals of the project.

Asian, Russian and African sounds come together in a multi - ethnic universe with jazz and minimalism. The piano, the violin, the djembè, flutes,the balafon, tibetan bells and frame drums, are just some of the instruments used for the performance.

Uno spettacolo della durata di circa 30 minuti durante il quale verranno eseguite composizioni originali del musicista - compositore Graziano Mossuto. I brani nascono dalla una ricerca che il compositore ha potuto maturare nella sua esperienza musicale e umana, vivendo fra i popoli che si affacciano nel bacino del Mediterraneo. Il concerto vuole far rivivere l’iter caleidoscopico della musicalità siciliana, figlia delle tante culture legate alle varie dominazioni, avvicendatesi durante i secoli, e facenti parte del vissuto di tutti coloro che vivono e amano questa terra.

A 30-minute performance featuring original compositions by musician and composer Graziano Mossuto. The pieces are the result of research that the composer has been able to carry out through his musical and personal experience, living among the populations of the Mediterranean basin. This concert re-enacts the kaleidoscopic history of Sicilian music, the product of so many cultures linked to the various conquests that have taken place over the centuries, and which are part of the lives of all those who live and love this region.
